By road from London, West Wales, Cardiff and all directions other than Merthyr Tydfil.

At junction 32, take the A470 exit to Cardiff/Caerdydd/Merthyr Tydfil (0.2 mi). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A470 ramp to Merthyr Tydfil/Merthyr Tudful (0.2 mi)
Merge onto A470 (2.3 mi)
Take the A4054/A468 exit toward Trefforest/Caerphilly/Caerffili (0.1 mi)
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Caerphilly Rd/A468 (1.2 mi)
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Nantgarw Rd/B4600
Go through 1 roundabout (1.3 mi)
Go through one set of lights at crossroads.
Continue for around 3/4 ,mile
Turn left in front of entrance road which leads behind Caerphilly Castle (visible from road)
Turn right into church.

By road from Merthyr Tydfil
Take the A4054/A468 exit toward Trefforest/Caerphilly/Caerffili (0.1 mi)
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Caerphilly Rd/A468 (1.2 mi)
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Nantgarw Rd/B4600
Go through 1 roundabout (1.3 mi)
Go through one set of lights at crossroads.
Continue for around 3/4 ,mile
Turn left in front of entrance road which leads behind Caerphilly Castle (visible from road)
Turn right into church.

St Helen’s is accessible from both Caerphilly and Aber stations.

  1. Thank you for such a celebration of the Easter Vigil in a very difficult time. I especially appreciated the singing of the Exultet and the psalms: the cantors were excellent.
