Canon John Kelly

Parish Priest, St Helen’s Church

Welcome to Saint Helen’s parish, a Catholic Christian community. We are based in the modern church and supporting community hall surrounded by beautiful grounds and an accommodating car park, tucked in between Caerphilly Castle (the largest in Wales!) and Morgan Jones park.

Our Mission is to proclaim together the Good News of Jesus Christ by word and action, in worship and praise, sharing faith and teaching, reaching out in charity and relaxing in social events and activities. We journey together, on the Pope’s ‘synodal’ path, lifted up and supported in Christ’s risen life, and seeking to raise up each person we encounter and the communities of which we are part, for the flourishing of all. We would be delighted to welcome you to walk with us on this adventure.
