Dear Friends in Christ,
In just over a month’s time, 700 people from communities right across Wales will gather with the leaders of the four main political parties for the first ever Governance of Wales Accountability Assembly.
It will all take place from 18:30-21:00 on March 17th at Eglwys y Tabernacl on the Hayes in Cardiff. We would very much like you to join us – so please register for your free ticket here and encourage members from your Parish, School, organisation or community to come by registering too.
We will be asking Carwyn Jones AM (Labour), Andrew RT Davies AM (Conservative), Leanne Wood AM (Plaid Cymru) and Kirsty Williams AM (Liberal Democrats) to work with us on a series of social justice issues, should the election result in them leading, or forming part of, the next Welsh Government. We will also ask them to share with us (briefly) their vision for the nation and why we should vote for their party.
This forms one part of Citizens Cymru Wales’ work in the run-up to the elections in May. We will also be registering people to vote, persuading them to turnout on polling day, and training people to build accountable relationships with aspiring politicians on the issues that matter, such as the Living Wage, welcoming refugees, and job opportunities for young people.
If you would like more information please click here for opportunities to get involved.
Hope to see you on March 17th! Once again, here is the link to reserve your seats.
