Church leaders throughout Wales published a statement on St David’s Day, marking the 25th anniversary of the publication of the new translation of the Welsh Bible (Y Beibl Cymraeg Newydd) and celebrating the completion of a new version of the Bible online on the beibl.net website. The statement emphasises the relevance of the Bible to life today and the Churches’ commitment to pass on its vital message to the next generation. It was signed Bishop Emeritus Edwin Regan on behalf of the Catholic Church in Wales.
